Carolyn has over 25 years experience in medical billing. She understands how health insurance companies operate and how to get insurance claims paid. From 1981 to 1995 she worked at front office and billing positions for numerous medical practices in Southern California. From 1995 to 2001 she supervised the billing department at Absolute Healthcare in Austin, Texas, where she was responsible for 12 medical billers who supported over 40 clinics across the United States. From 2001 to 2007 she worked at Raintree Systems, which is a leading vendor of medical practice management software. She started in customer technical support, and quickly worked her way up to supervising the electronic billing department. During this time she supervised the electronic billing setups for many small and large Raintree customers. Carolyn decided to start her own medical billing service in 2007, and her reputation and industry contacts have allowed her to establish a successful medical billing service with a diverse client base.
Jim worked for over 20 years in the semiconductor industry, and has a PhD in electrical engineering from UC Santa Barbara. He held project management positions at some of the best research and development organizations in the world, including the University of California, SEMATECH, Motorola, Advanced Micro Devices, and IBM. He left the semiconductor industry in 2008 to help his wife Carolyn with her growing business, and he brings a wide range of project leadership and operational experience to the business.
